Project
We neutralize our customers' emissions through projects that support landfill gas capture, renewable energy and transportation efficiency.

What projects are we supporting?
Oaxaca II
📍 Oaxaca
Construction of a wind farm with 102 MW installed capacity. The renewable energy will be provided to the Mexican grid system and therefore results in the greenhouse gas emissions.
Estimated emissions reduction: 240,159 tCO2e/year
El Verde
📍 Guanajuato
Capture and flare landfill gas generated through the decomposition of the organic waste disposed at the El Verde Landfill. This involves investing in a LFG collection system and flare station.

Brisa Fresca
📍 Nayarit and Chiapas
Reforestation project covers 13,027.54 hectares of land, plantations forestry farms to obtain high value products and collect large amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
Estimated emissions reduction: 52,573 tCO2e/year

Which associations do we support?
Arbor Day Foundation
📍 Oaxaca and Chiapas, México
Plant With Purpose is working with communities to plant drought-resistant trees in order to restore the forests people depend on for their livelihoods. Community members plant trees on their individual plots in addition to organizing larger scale efforts on surrounding communally managed hillsides.

Eden Reforestation Projects
📍 Maputo Bay, Mozambique
The project provides support to local communities to plant and manage mangrove forests, offers long-term employment and livelihood improvements to local communities, while protecting the important biodiversity that relies on mangrove forests to survive
